PBS Names New President and Chief Operating Officer
PBS Engineering + Environmental, a Northwest leader in environmental and engineering services, recently announced that Guy Neal, PE has been named President of the firm.
Mr. Neal brings over 24 years of leadership experience and has previously served as COO and Principal of PBS’ Engineering Division which provides environmental, geotechnical, and civil engineering services.
“For those of you who have worked with Guy, you know he is an excellent thinker, listener, and a respected practitioner. Not only has Guy developed our entire engineering practice over the past 18 years, he has quietly tackled some of PBS’ more challenging business management opportunities with an amazing degree of success,” said Ron Petti, PBS’ Chief Executive Officer.
Brian Stanford, PBS’ Principal of Seattle and Eastern Operations, has also been appointed Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Sanford has been with PBS for over 19 years and has successfully managed their Washington offices since 1995. Under his management, Mr. Stanford has succeeded in solidifying PBS’ presence in the Northwest as a leading hazardous materials management firm. “Nearing his 20-year-anniversary with PBS, Brian is credited with developing the Seattle office from a new branch office to a highly-successful aspect of company,” said Mr. Petti.
Ron Petti, current CEO, will remain on-board to continue oversight of corporate affairs and strategic planning. “These transitions are significant because they demonstrate just how deeply committed PBS is to creating leadership opportunities for staff at all levels.”
