PBS Wins Key Port of Seattle RMM Contract

PBS Engineering + Environmental is pleased to announce our selection for a three-year Regulated Materials Management (RMM) contract with the Port of Seattle. This $750K-per-year contract entails hazardous materials management for all Port of Seattle facilities including both SeaTac Airport and SeaPort (Marine Division) properties. Issues addressed will include asbestos, lead-based paint, PCB light ballast, mold, or refrigerant concerns.

PBS is excited to continue its successful project history with the Port, which began in 2000 by providing hazardous materials surveys at SeaTac International Airport and outlying areas for the Port of Seattle. For this current contract, PBS will similarly provide regulated materials surveys, abatement specifications, contractor oversight, cost estimating, indoor air quality investigations, stakeholder coordination, and on-site safety training at Port facilities.

PBS received the highest score among the firms evaluated and was chosen as one of three total consultants for the contract.
