Coos County Natural Gas Pipeline

Location: Oregon

PBS has been supporting the Coos County Pipeline permitting and construction since 2006. Services have included comprehensive multidisciplined project management, design and construction oversight services to Coos County for its Natural Gas Pipeline System. The County’s pipeline system consists of approximately 60 miles of 12-inch diameter high-pressure mainline, 8 miles of 6-inch high-pressure lateral line and 10 miles of 4-inch high-pressure lateral lines.

Services provided to the County include civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geology, permitting, stream restoration, riparian restoration, culvert evaluation and design, bid assistance, contract management, construction management, litigation assistance, regulatory negotiations, property owner negotiations, and consultant management. In addition, PBS has been providing services to the operator and maintainer of Coos County’s pipeline system, NW Natural Gas Company since 2008.
