Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
& GeospatialAerial precision data collection.
PBS offers UAS services for aerial data collection. Survey-controlled aerial mapping (Lidar and Photogrammetry), photography, and videography are valuable supplements to traditional methods of data collection and documentation—allowing us to analyze, map, and distribute data more efficiently.
UAS & Geospatial Services
Our surveyors understand that effective communication and attention to detail are essential to delivering surveys that are complete, cost-effective, and on time. To complement our surveying services, our UAS program provides aerial Lidar and Photogrammetry, along with in-house data processing and digitization. Adaptable to both CAD-centric and GIS-centric workflows, the PBS UAS program provides value to a wide range of projects and professional disciplines.
Benefits of UAS at PBS
Efficiency
Drones cover more ground in less time without sacrificing accuracy.
Cost
Conventional aircraft can be cost-prohibitive. With UAS, even small projects can benefit.
Safety
Perform inspections in high-risk locations without putting staff in harm’s way.
Long-Term Value
Reuse historical data sets. Generate future deliverables at minimal cost.
Rapid Turnaround
Turnaround times are measured in days, not in weeks.
High Resolution
Offers ultra-high resolution compared to traditional methods.
GIS Compatibility
Work products are compatible with many GIS and CAD programs.
Skilled Experts
PBS uses commercially insured UAS operators who are FAA licensed.
