PBS Engineering and Environmental announces its first rebrand in 10 years

Adopting a simplified brand name, PBS aligns its strategy to highlight their integrated capabilities.

PBS Engineering and Environmental, a Northwest firm specializing in environmental and infrastructure project delivery for public and private clients, announced today that it has launched a refreshed corporate identity to better reflect the firm’s growing range of services. The company has also adopted a simplified brand name: PBS.

PBS began as a small, environmental consulting firm in Oregon more than 30 years ago, and since that time has grown into a full-service engineering, industrial hygiene, environmental, and surveying firm with capabilities to support projects from inception through implementation.

“Our new identity speaks to our robust capabilities in both the engineering and environmental fields, and communicates our ability to provide smart, collaborative solutions,” stated PBS President, Guy Neal.

Neal said the rebranding is more than a visual upgrade, it’s a reflection of the firm’s evolution. “Our last rebranding was more than ten years ago,” said Neal. “Since that time, PBS has more than doubled its size and is working on projects throughout the United States. Putting the needs of our clients first has been the driving force of this growth. As our client base has expanded, our capabilities have grown to better address their needs. This new look reflects our dedication to bring integrated solutions to the clients we serve.”

PBS’ leadership believes that the rebrand, combined with their extensive services, will further develop relationships with both long-standing and new clients. With the expansion of its engineering services and the opening of new office locations, the firm has focused its message on serving as a ‘single stop’ resource for their clients. “PBS offers a unique benefit that few firms have—the ability to provide the full-service capabilities of a global firm while still maintaining the one-on-one, personalized experience of a regional firm,” said Neal. The firm currently has 10 offices in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

“Our clients face complex challenges as communities develop, industries grow, and environmental needs arise. PBS’ new brand helps us communicate how our cross-discipline staff work together to provide our clients with solutions that balance compliance, sustainability, and practical design,” said Neal.

The roll-out of the firm’s rebranding is in progress and is expected for completion by April 2017.
