35th Avenue Roundabout

PBS provided multi-service solutions for an innovative roundabout design that incorporated sidewalk connections and crosswalks. The project reconstructed the intersection of Pioneer Street at 35th Avenue with a two-lane roundabout in the east/west direction. Services included traffic and design engineering, environmental process, public involvement process, and other related engineering support. Other services included land surveying, stormwater options and design, traffic engineering, lighting design, landscape design, environmental documentation and permits, and utility coordination.

This project also includes SEPA documentation, wetland mitigation, and a hazardous materials assessment.

Construction management, inspection, and documentation services were also provided. Our construction management team came up with a way to streamline work by splitting time with an adjacent city project (without compromising quality) in order to save the city time and money.
