Medford School District Wetlands

Medford School District proposed constructing a high school for 2,000 students on 42 acres of grassland to provide sufficient classrooms and parking as well as space for football, track, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, and a gymnasium for indoor sports. The construction impacted 10.4 acres of wetlands and six ditches.

PBS was contracted by the School District to complete wetland delineations, wetland functional assessments, 404 Joint Removal/Fill Permit application, a wetland mitigation plan, underground storage tank location, NPDES 1200-C Permit application, construction drawings, construction specifications, construction cost estimate, invitation to bid documents, and assist with permit modification. PBS also helped with the search for a suitable wetland mitigation site and managed archeological surveys.
