Services

PBS has established a reputation for understanding the needs of owners, engineers, planners, and architects by utilizing our multi-discipline capabilities to provide solutions that are cost effective and meet regulatory requirements.
ENGINEERING

Cost-effective design and permitting solutions including preparation of site development plans, grading/erosion control, stormwater management, utility design, transportation improvements, and right-of-way design.

Analysis and geo-design for engineering projects including seismic ground motion studies, subsurface explorations, mitigation, landslides, geologic mapping, instrumentation, geotechnical design, and construction oversight.

By taking time to understand the underlying issues and long-term goals for each transportation project, we are able to develop truly sustainable solutions—not just temporary symptom relief.

With a client-focused approach, PBS provides easy to construct, easy to maintain, and durable structural engineering solutions that provide value over the full life of the asset.

Our engineers are experts in the latest methodologies relative to the traffic engineering field. We use the latest technology and software available to effectively find solutions to the traffic, safety, and congestion challenges of our region.

Solutions that enable compliance with regulatory guidelines including stormwater system improvements, environmental design, and environmental permits for air, wastewater, hazardous waste, and stormwater.

ENVIRONMENTAL

Turn-key hazardous materials consulting including environmental and industrial hygiene assessments; AHERA inspections, training, risk assessments, hazardous building materials inspections by certified professionals with decades in the industry.

Combines geology, groundwater, toxicology, and engineering to provide site acquisition investigations, soil/groundwater testing; UST removal and contaminated site strategies; remediation, and regulatory coordination.

Solutions that enable compliance with regulatory guidelines including stormwater system improvements, environmental design, and environmental permits for air, wastewater, hazardous waste, and stormwater.

Includes site planning, permitting, wetland planning, botanical surveys, stream and wetland restoration, fish/wildlife evaluations, environmental assessments, agency coordination, and construction monitoring.

EPA and OSHA compliant asbestos, lead, and hazardous materials training for school districts, public and private facilities, and government agencies.

Environmental and hazardous materials document management, from data acquisition and organization, to web-based report generation.

SURVEY

The Land Survey Department at PBS provides comprehensive land surveying services that include boundary, topographic, GPS, construction, horizontal and vertical control surveys, as well as subdivision platting services.

PBS offer UAS services for aerial data collection and photogrammetric processing. By using drone technology, our engineers and surveyors can supplement traditional data collection methods by analyzing, mapping, and distributing data with increased value and efficiency.
